C.L.M. Project Sites in Ethiopia

• Ethiopia is one of the undeveloped countries in the world. Poverty-stricken economy is based on agriculture; the agricultural sector suffers from frequent drought and poor cultivation practices.

• Guraga zone region is the one of the Southern Ethiopia Nation and Nationalities State and has thirteen local district Adminstrations.

• Endegagn is one of the thirteen Gurage zone regional administrations and one of the local administrative districts. The total number of the population is estimated more than 200,000.

• In the area of this local administrative district, there is no basic health providing clinic and people are suffering with different types of diseases. Kids want education but except a few pre and elementary schools, there is no a single high school. Except summer season, there is no all weather motor vehicle roads, there is no clean- drinking water. There is no communication line or electric power.In general, this community needs help.
