Greater Denver CLM Cinco de Mayo Educational / Networking event

Please join the Greater Denver Chapter as we examine the various claims made by Plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death matters. Our presenters will highlight the many aspects of damages in injury claims, including lost earnings and if historical earnings or earnings capacity should be the basis of measurement. Other topics will include work-life estimates, payroll taxes and fringe benefits, inflation and discount rates, mitigation and
saved consumption, as well as a discussion on the various methods used to calculate the lost value of household services and the difficulties of proving and disproving those projections. We will also look at typical claims made by economists and the differences between using an economist and an accountant.  Our final discussion point will focus on the measurement of loss for an individual who owns their own business and can no longer operate that business.
