The course explains the fundamentals of good-faith claim investigation by discussing wavier and estoppel; valued policy laws; bad-faith damages and claims; examinations under oath; the insurer’s duty to defend; defense under a reservation of rights; negotiation and arbitration of coverage issues; coverage denials; and declaratory judgment actions.
