The CLM Foundation was established as a continuance of the ClaimVets organization, which was founded by the CLM in 2013. The CLM Foundation’s mission is to raise funds and support initiatives that promote the insurance, risk and claims industry; attract new talent to the industry; and contribute to causes important to the industry. The Foundation engages the CLM membership to support these initiatives and other causes important to our membership.
In 2017, the CLM Foundation has selected to support three main causes.
Darkness to Light
D2L, an organization committed to empowering adults to prevent child sexual abuse, has trained more than 1.3 million adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.
Kids Chance
Kids’ Chance supports programs that provide educational opportunities and scholarships for the children of workers seriously injured or killed on the job.
Honor Foundation
The Honor Foundation was created exclusively for Navy SEALs and the U.S. Special Operations community to provide a clear process for professional development for these outstanding men and women.
CLM local chapters can also elect to support other causes important to their membership and region.
