Biography
Ron received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Murray State University in 1978, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1980. Ron was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association in 1981, and has over 30 years experience in insurance defense litigation. From 1979 to 2010, Ron was associated with the Lexington office of a large Kentucky defense firm, and managed that office for four years. In June of 2010, Ron and his wife Pam opened Green & Chesnut PLLC, adn in 2013 Elizabeth Hughes joined the firm.
Ron is admitted to Kentucky Supreme Court, United States District Court in the Eastern and Western Districts, Fifth and Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and United States Supreme Court. He is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, has been named to Superlawyers on multiple occasions. The firm is recommended by A.M. Best. In addition to The CLM, Ron participates in the Kentucky Bar Association, Fayette County Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Kentucky Defense Counsel, National Association of Forensic Economics and Professional Liability Defense Federation.
