Anne Cohen

Biography

Anne Cohen is a member of Smith Freed & Eberhard’s Construction Defect, Employment, and Cyber Law Practice Groups. Her practice focuses on defending businesses in a variety of litigation matters, large and small. This includes defense of general contractors and developers in construction defect and other property-related claims; defense of manufacturers in product liability claims; as well as defense of employment disputes, discrimination, harassment and Errors and Omissions claims. The defense of claims ranges from those barely out of reach of small claims courts to multi-million dollar actions.Anne is experienced in briefing complex legal issues in dispositive motions, as well as negotiating complex, multi-party settlements. In addition to striving for a successful resolution, Anne’s goal is to seek maximum value for services provided. Her innovative legal strategies and commitment to cost-effective case management has put Anne at the forefront of defending a wide variety of complex cases throughout the Pacific Northwest and Utah.  Anne frequently presents to insurance companies and trade organizations on a variety of issues. She is available for lunch-and-learn or continuing education presentations.
