Angela Russell

Biography

Angela Russell is the regional managing partner of Wilson Elser’s Baltimore office, a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, Chair of the firm-wide Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and the firm’s National Trial Team. Angela has significant trial experience and has tried cases across the state of Maryland, in the District of Columbia and the Midwest. Her practice encompasses the defense of complex commercial actions and professional liability matters, including transportation/trucking claims, medical and legal malpractice actions, in addition to claims against agents, brokers and other professionals. Her clients include national transportation companies, food and beverage corporations, hospitals, physician practices, international hotel and retail chains and large construction companies.
 
Angela served as an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law in Minnesota and is a frequent speaker on issues related to litigation and risk management. She is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and has been selected for inclusion in Maryland Super lawyers from 2015 to 2023 and Best Lawyers in America from 2018 to 2023. Angela was appointed to serve on the Judicial Nominating Commission by Maryland Governor Hogan in 2016. She has also served as an officer in CLM’s Maryland Chapter and Co-Chair of the Fellows of the American Bar
Foundation’s Maryland Chapter.
