Robert Palmer

Biography

            Bob obtained his undergraduate degree from Davidson College in 1977 and his law degree in 1980 from Florida State University 1980. In addition to being a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator, he is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer. Bob is a longtime member of the   American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA)serving as President of the  Florida Chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates in 2014-2015 . He is an active member of theInternational Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel. He is a member of  Defense Research Institute (DRI) and served on the  Florida Bar Trial Lawyers Section Executive Council 1996-2007, serving as Chair 2006-2007.
           Bob specializes in civil trial litigation. He has tried cases in both state and federal courts throughout Northwest Florida. For nearly thirty years he has represented a wide range of clients in claims and lawsuits involving products liability, construction defect, trucking, negligent security, premises liability, and chemical exposure. He has lectured at both local and state bar seminars and for several years has chaired the Florida Bar Advanced Trial Advocacy program, a five-day interactive seminar.
        Bob is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator and a member of the National Academy of Distinguished neutrals. He mediates across North Florida multiparty cases from construction defect and employment cases,estate disputes,  to medical malpractice cases and auto and truck accident claims.
