Laurie E. Sherwood is a partner in WFBM's San Francisco office. Her practice focuses on employment, construction defect, travel and tour operator, toxic tort and public entity litigation. Throughout her career, Laurie has successfully represented municipalities, corporations, manufacturers, distributors, and general contractors/subcontractors in multiple-party and complex litigation. Laurie has also been involved in several trials and has handled numerous mediations involving these types of claims. Her successes include summary judgments, favorable settlements and obtaining dismissals in a variety of litigation matters. Born and raised in Southern California, she ventured north for law school and now resides in Vallejo, the gateway to the Napa Valley, with her goofy golden retriever, Gordon.Over the years, Laurie chaired a local Commission and served as a CASA (Court appointed Special Advocates) volunteer. Currently, she serves on the LMU Alumni Board of Directors and the Sever College of Science and Engineering Executive Committee. Laurie loves traveling, early morning work-outs, cooking & entertaining, food & wine and a good book.
