Jo Beth Earl

Biography

Jo Beth is a Technical Director of Litigation for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company. She is an experienced Insurance Professional specializing in Litigation Management across all lines, contract negotiation and management of the company’s panel counsel for the eastern US, adjuster training, and technical support of Professional Liability, Property, and Workers Compensation lines. Prior to joining Fireman’s Fund, Jo Beth was the Claims Director of Hanover Professionals (formerly Professionals Direct Insurance), a nationwide provider of legal malpractice insurance, where she led a team of claims attorneys, oversaw all coverage litigation, and managed the nationwide panel of defense attorneys. After Hanover acquired the company, GWP more than doubled in a two year period. Jo Beth was chiefly responsible for managing that growth within the claims group while integrating the team into Hanover's.Jo Beth was a defense attorney for 13 years prior to entering the insurance industry, handling all phases of litigation for a wide variety of professional liability, and property and casualty carriers.

She is a proud graduate of the University of Florida (Go Gators!), and of the Mercer University School of Law.
