Biography

Mr. Fay has focused his practice on the representation of clients in civil litigation and other disputes for thirty years. He has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict in both state and federal court and has wide experience in all phases of alternative dispute resolution. He handles litigation throughout the New England states. He has written extensively for publications serving the claims and legal industries and is a frequent presenter to trade, industry and professional groups. An experienced and versatile litigator, Mr. Fay defends transportation, premises liability, professional liability, construction litigation, commercial litigation and class action cases and handles insurance coverage matters and unfair claims settlement practices matters. He specializes in the defense of catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death and property damage claims. He provides Rapid Response services for transportation clients. He advises trucking, transportation, and logistics clients concerning risk management, business structure and organization, employment issues, cargo and freight claims, DOT audits and notices of claims, regulatory compliance, transactions, contracts, and various other issues that confront businesses on a day to day basis.

Mr. Fay is a magna cum laude graduate of Boston College and a graduate of Boston College Law School. He is a member of the Massachusetts and New Hampshire bars and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Massachusetts and New Hampshire, First Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.
