Joseph L. Mira, Partner at MiraIBlanton, PLLC, litigates disputes in all Texas courts. Joe’s years of experience extend to representing general contractors and subcontractors in litigation regarding contract disputes, lien issues, disputes with owners for payment, and construction defect issues. He has represented contractors and subcontractors in the pre-contract negotiation stage through the bidding process and through the project management process where change orders and scheduling issues have occurred. Successfully represented a subcontractor in a 3-week trial in Tarrant County regarding construction defects, securing a defense verdict for the subcontractor and counter claims against the general contractor for amounts owed
Successfully represented a general contractor in Dallas county in securing a summary judgment for the general contractor against all claims for apartment complexes constructed in McLennan county
Successfully secured a summary judgment for an owner against claims asserted by subcontractor for repairs on a multi-family project in North Texas
