Biography

Angela is Managing Partner of CSVL's Tennessee Office. She successfully defends corporations, insurers and insureds in a wide variety of litigation matters throughout Georgia and Tennessee; including general liablity defense, insurance coveage and bad faith.Before being recruited to CSVL, Angela chaired the general liability department of a regional insurance defense firm, and served as staff counsel for an automobile insurance carrier. She is an AV Rated Attorney through Martindale-Hubbell, and a frequent speaker at various seminars and events.  She travels nationally to train her clients in various insurance and defense related topics.Angela is a member of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance, and was presented wtih CLM's Professional of the Year Award in the Outside Counsel Category in 2017. She participates on various committees and received her designation as a Claims Litigation Management Professional from the Litigation Management Institute.  She is also part of the Faculty for Claims College and serves as a Dean of the School of Leadership.  She has received her Certified Claims Professional and Advanced Claims Professional designations. Angela has been honored with a Senior Fellowship in the Litigation Counsel of America, a Trial Lawyer Honorary Society; open to less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers.  She has been inducted into the Order of Juris for recognition of her trial experience, and inducted into the Order of Certus for appellate work. She has also been selected as a member of the National Retail and Restaurant Defense Association, RISE, Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel, and is a Charter Member of the Insurance Institute of America.  She is a current member and former President of the Southeast Legal Association of Women and involved with the Diversity Law Institute.
