Alfred Donohue

Biography

Al Donohue is a partner with Wilson Smith Cochran Dickerson.  His current practice focuses on advice and litigation of: property and liability insurance coverage claims, insurance claims handling, insurance extra-contractual claims, and product liability.  Al is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Washington and Oregon. He has tried cases on behalf of insurance companies concerning property coverage, the Washington Insurance Fair Conduct Act, Washington Consumer Protection Act, and breach of contract.  Before law school, Al worked for Windermere Real Estate and served with the Marine Corps in the Gulf during Operation Desert Storm.  Al attended the University of Washington School of Law, serving as the managing editor of the law review.  After law school, he clerked for the Washington Court of Appeals. He regularly teaches seminars on insurance coverage, ethics, and extra-contractual claims. When not working, he enjoys woodworking and gardening.
