Timothy O'Leary

Biography

Tim O’Leary is a Shareholder at Sandberg Phoenix & von Gontard P.C. based in St. Louis.  In 2014, Tim completed the Litigation Management Institute hosted by Columbia Law School and was certified as a Claims Litigation Management Professional.Tim has significance experience working on matters in the areas of insurance bad faith, insurance coverage, ERISA, and professional liability.  He practices in both State and Federal courts and has extensive jury trial experience.  In recognition of his trial abilities, the Missouri Bar Foundation selected Tim to receive the prestigious Lon O. Hocker Award in 2006.  In addition to Tim’s trial experience, he has also achieved successful results for clients through alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation.  Tim thoroughly assesses client needs and concerns to provide clients with strategic planning and creative solutions to issues.  He is especially adept at project management and resolving client issues efficiently and economically.
Sandberg Phoenix has a strong mid-west presence with offices in the States of Missouri, Illinois and Kansas.  Tim is licensed to practice in the States of Missouri and Illinois as well as several Federal courts, including: The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri; The United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri; The United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois; and, The United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
Tim frequently attends CLM’s insurance bad faith/coverage/fraud conferences, professional liability conferences and the CLM annual conference.
