Rebekah Ratliff is a credentialed former commercial complex insurance claims professional with more than 25 years of experience evaluating, negotiating and settling casualty claims loss matters, nationwide and internationally. Having a wide range of subject matter expertise, she managed and held the authority to negotiate and resolve complex claims loss matters for global commercial insurance carriers, with settlements totaling in the millions. Rebekah is a mediator and arbitrator with the Judicial Mediation and Arbitration Service (JAMS), mediating med mal, auto and trucking, products, construction defect, nursing home/assisted living, public entity, commercial premises liability, wrongful death and employment cases.
Rebekah is a nationally sought-after presenter, panelist, and lecturer in the insurance and legal industries. She is the President of the Atlanta Chapter of the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA). She is active with other leading industry organizations, including Claims Litigation Management Alliance (CLM). Ms. Ratliff is the 2nd Vice Chair of the National Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Section and the Diversity Committee Co-chair of the American Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section. She is the recipient of various prestigious awards to include Business Insurance Women to Watch, Insurance Business America HOT 100 List, and a 7th U.S. District (IL) Congressional Award, for her work in alternative dispute resolution. Rebekah is a native of Chicago, IL, and graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana, holding a degree in Psychology. She is based in Atlanta, GA and operates internationally.
