Dawnde Pence

Biography

Dawnde Pence has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry and is currently the Special Investigative Unit Manager for the Interinsurance Exchange of the Automobile Club. Throughout her career, she has managed property and casualty claims in both personal and commercial markets. She has also supervised large property losses and complex claims as a Property Claims Examiner. Before transitioning into management, Dawnde served as a Senior Investigator for the Special Investigations Unit for 14 years, earning the Property Insurance Investigator of the Year award in 2004 from the Southern California Chapter IASIU.

Dawnde has earned several designations throughout her career, including the CPCU designation in 2007, Senior Claims Law Associate in 2001, and Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator designation in 1999. She is an active participant in industry organizations, having served as a Chapter Board member of the IASIU Southern California chapter for 12 years, including 2 years as President. Currently, Dawnde is the President of the California Combined Claims Conference and Chairperson for the California Insurance Fraud Advisory Board.
