Kevin Cohen

Biography

Kevin presently oversees and is responsible for the relationship between Liberty Mutual and its outside counsel in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kansas and Arizona. Kevin joined Liberty Mutual and Legal Strategic Services as a Senior Litigation Auditor in 2010, transitioning into the role of Principal Litigation Auditor. In May 2016, Kevin became Regional Counsel for the Eastern Region, joining the Legal Quality & Strategic Relations team where he manages outside counsel relationships for the company.
 
Prior to joining Liberty Mutual, Kevin was a civil trial lawyer handling claims on behalf of individual and corporate clients in state and federal court.  Kevin clerked for the New Jersey Superior Court from 2001-2002 and is a 2001 graduate of Rutgers Law School and a 1998 graduate of Tulane University.  Kevin is also an alumnus of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliances’ Litigation Management Institute.
 
Kevin is father to three children and the “pet parent” to two dogs and two cats.  He volunteers as an Assistant Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts and in his free time enjoys cooking, reading and lounging at the lake.
