Patti Rutzinski

Biography

Patti has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years. She has worked in all areas of claims and found her niche in subrogation. She has worked in the Subrogation Department at SECURA Insurance for the last 25 years. In her role as a Senior Subrogation Specialist, she successfully negotiated and settled a large volume of subrogation claims resulting in significant recoveries for SECURA. She was promoted to Subrogation Supervisor in 2021 and continues to grow as a leader at SECURA.

Patti enjoys collaborating with others in strategizing claims. She embraces the opportunity to strengthen customer relations with SECURA’s customers and works closely with them regarding recoveries. She has also found a passion in continuing improvement processes and has been involved in many lean projects and Quick Wins at SECURA and is the Claims Department CI Chair.

In her free time, Patti and her husband enjoy bicycling and brewery visits, sometimes combining the two. She also had two adult daughters and a 1-year-old granddaughter that has become the love of her life.
