Jean Gardner

Biography

Jean Gardner, Esq. is the Chief Executive Officer of Central Analysis Bureau and a partner at the firm of Hill Rivkins, LLP New York City. Her national practice focuses primarily on transportation and logistics, including inland marine, property, and commercial auto insurance coverages, where she represents varied insurance carriers on both coverage and defense issues, as well as direct representation of trucking companies, warehouseman and other logistic providers assisting them in operations and risk management. Central Analysis Bureau, Inc., is a well-known provider of financial and safety monitoring for insurers, brokers, and producers of motor carrier insurance. Ms.  Gardner is actively involved in analyzing the data and determining the trends in the transportation and related insurance industries to allow these industries to understand the exposure, know the insured, and complement a particular appetite for risk. Ms. Gardner writes the monthly “Bits and Pieces” report relied on by the industry to keep them up to date of events impacting the underwriting of transportation entities and lectures throughout the country on these related topics. She is a member of the Transportation Lawyers Association, the Conference of Freight Counsel and is also a consultant to the Inland Marine Underwriters Association and an active member of the Transportation Committee.
