Cheryl Renfer

Biography

Cheryl Renfer is a Vice President of Custom and Program Account claims at Ironshore Insurance Company.  At Ironshore she is involved in Alternative Risk Transfer programs.  In today’s ever changing health care environment organizations that are self insured or their captives may want to free up capital. An Alternative Risk Transfer provides them the opportunity to do so. Cheryl is involved with the marketing, pricing and oversight of such programs.  Prior to this role her focus was on Commercial General Liability and Professional Liability claims.  She has been responsible complex high exposure cases for St. Paul Insurance and Travelers on a national level. She has an R.N. with a Masters in Health Systems and is familiar with both the medical and administrative challenges facings health care today.
