As a member of the Real Estate, Product Liability and Construction practice groups, Brian's primary focus is on complex litigation, including construction defect. He is co-chair of the firm's Construction practice group. He also has experience in personal injury, mortgage and real estate broker/agent defense, home inspector defense, and other professional responsibility and business defense, and premises liability matters, as well as contract drafting, review and revision for his clients.Prior to law school, Brian's business experience included government loan collections and serving as general manager of a consumer collection agency in Santa Ana, California, training and working as a DRPA mediator, and an appointment to the board of directors at the former Center for Community Mediation in Costa Mesa, California.In his last years at law school, and for three years after law school, he was affiliated with a law firm in Orange County, California, handling primarily mortgage broker and lender defense in civil matters and before the Department of Real Estate, Department of Corporations, and the U.S. department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). He also handled matters involving personal injury plaintiff's actions, and conservatorship supervision for incapacitated injury plaintiffs.Brian received his undergraduate degree in philosophy, cum laude, from the California State University at Fullerton. He received both his J.D. degree from Loyola Marymount University at the Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, as well as additional mediation training under the program's founder, the late Professor William Hobbs.
