Biography
William is the AVP of Property Claims and SIU for Grange Mutual Casualty Company located in Columbus, Ohio. He is responsible for all the strategic direction, innovation and guidelines for property claims from every day claims to catastrophe operations and large loss handling. In addition to his property claims responsibilities he manages the Special Investigation Unit and is responsible for all strategic direction, analytics and guidelines in SIU. He brings over 14 years of insurance experience including courtroom testimony and mediations. He has obtained his Associates in: Risk Management, Commercial Underwriting and Claims in addition to his CPCU. Additionally he holds the IICRC certifications in Water Damage Restoration, Applied Structural Drying and Fire and Smoke Restoration.
He is actively involved in the industry and currently serves on the PCI & CLM Fraud Committees, PLRB Large Loss Conference Committee and is the Chair of the PLRB Products and Services Committee. He has presented at multiple conferences in the insurance industry (CLM, PLRB, PCS CAT, NAMIC and IASIU). William is a proud alumnus from Ohio State University.
