Biography
Cynthia M. Heaney is a Claims Practice Lead Specialist with Gallagher Bassett Specialty. She handles employment practices claims in all phases of litigation management. She has been with an insurance company since 2005. Prior to that, she was in private practice in New York and New Jersey, specializing in employment discrimination defense, insurance coverage litigation and product liability defense. She also was a Clerk a presiding judge in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. Cynthia received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where she was ADR & the Law Editor of the Fordham International Law Journal. She received her M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from New York University, and her B.A. in English Literature from Boston College.
