Biography
Jim currently serves as Vice President/Director of Claim Operations for BerkleyMed. In this capacity he is responsible for oversight of BerkleyMed’s excess healthcare professional liability and managed care errors & omissions claim operations. Jim has 30 years of experience in the claim/legal environment, including claim management responsibilities for a captive insuring large healthcare systems. Prior to joining BerkleyMed in 2011, Jim was Vice President Claims/Claim Director for a large, national insurance carrier where he held several claim technical and management positions in the company’s corporate claims operation with a focus on management of high severity claims. Jim is a licensed attorney in Massachusetts and worked as an associate in the insurance coverage practice of a large insurance defense firm.
