Cynthia is the Founder of Tarle Law, serving as the current Managing Partner of their offices physically located in San Diego, California as well as Austin, Dallas, and Houston, Texas. Tarle Law has been federally designated and formally certified as a Women Owned Business by the WBENC. Cynthia personally manages and supervises the firm’s four offices, litigating and serving clients across both states. She acts as monitoring counsel for her clients, managing their litigation nationwide and is a national consultant in the development of clients’ corporate insurance programs, directing contract negotiations which serve to align contract terms with insurance provisions in order to mitigate the scope of potential losses for her clients. The firm is frequently engaged as litigation and trial counsel to defend insureds in multi-party, court designated complex actions, including commercial, mixed use and industrial projects, residential construction, and school districts. The firm specializes in litigation and trial work related to catastrophic loss, traumatic brain injury, and wrongful death claims. Cynthia earned the designation of Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) through the Litigation Management Institute (LMI) of Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM). She is a repeat Faculty Member for CLM’s Claims College, most recently teaching her students in the Casualty College, Litigation Management & Control. She served for several years as the California State Membership Chair for Defense Research Institute (DRI) and then as a DRI State Membership Chair Liaison, working with defense attorney leaders across the country. She is admitted to practice in Texas, California and Colorado and frequently speaks to groups nationally on topics of insurance, contracts and construction loss control mechanisms, risk transfer and litigation. Cynthia also devotes her time to giving back to the community, holding a position on the Board of Directors for the Childhood Cancer Foundation, TeamConnor.
