Sandy Blunt

Biography

Sandy Blunt is an executive with a consistent track record of sustaining growth and leading organizations. He has proven leadership in operations management, ROI analysis, policy development, strategic planning, and Total Quality Management. Sandy was the COO of the largest exclusive workers’ compensation system and fourth-largest underwriter of workers’ compensation in the United States with over a $19 billion fund comprised of 2,650 employees located in 16 customer service centers.
Skilled in continuous process improvement; Sandy has the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities to reduce costs, increase bottom-line profits, and streamline operations. He is a dynamic, conceptual thinker known for optimizing business operations, integrating/motivating staff, and building cohesive teams.
At Medata, Sandy provides Executive Consulting services as a technical subject matter expert in workers’ compensation. As a former CEO and COO of workers’ compensation carriers, he brings “the carrier’s perspective” to Medata’s strong line of products and services by partnering with customers to provide enhanced products and services.
Sandy has a Master of Government Administration (MGA) from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Ohio University.
