Dominick Cirelli

Biography

Based in Hunt Valley, Maryland, Mr. Cirelli is responsible for providing legal and compliance advice to the Atradius executive management teams in the United States, Canada and Mexico.  He is a member of the Atradius senior leadership team and participates in the operational management and strategic planning of the company.

Mr. Cirelli joined Atradius in March, 2018.  Prior to joining Atradius, Mr. Cirelli was the Deputy General Counsel of Coface North America Insurance Company.  Mr. Cirelli served for fifteen years at Coface in positions of increasing responsibility throughout his tenure.  Prior to joining Coface, Mr. Cirelli worked at Mendes & Mount in Newark, N.J. and Smith, Stratton, Wise, Heher and Brennan in Princeton, N.J. where he specialized in insurance coverage litigation.  

Mr. Cirelli co-authored an article entitled “Square Peg...Round Hole. Landmark Coverage Decision Finds No Coverage for Data Breach Under CGL Form” that was published in the July 2014 Litigation Management magazine published by the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance.  He presented as part of an Employment Law panel at the Northeast Corporate Counsel Forum’s 2016 and 2017 annual meetings. Mr. Cirelli was featured in an article titled “Lessons In-House Litigation” in the January 2018 edition of Modern Counsel magazine.

Mr. Cirelli graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-law from Penn State University in 1990.  Mr. Cirelli received his Juris Doctorate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Akron School of Law in Akron, Ohio in 1997.  He is a member of the State Bar of New Jersey.
