Biography
As Ringler’s Chief Financial Officer, Nicol Vargas manages Ringler’s financial statements, ledgers, cost accounting, payroll, accounts receivable and budgeting, as well as reports on trend analysis. Nicol also assists with dashboard reports and business plans for Ringler Consultants. Nicol joined Ringler as Controller in January 2017 with over 20 years of experience in accounting and the insurance industry. Nicol previously worked at Carl Warren & Company starting in May of 2007, as a Senior Financial Analyst. She was promoted to Controller following the Nova Pro acquisition. Prior to Carl Warren, Nicol was a Director of Finance for Marina Medical, which handled Emergency Room Medical Group Billing. She graduated from California State University in Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and went on to earn her MBA with a concentration in Accounting. Nicol has also had the privilege to teach at Claims College in the school of Leadership since 2017.
