Biography
Henry Ortega is a Vice President-Western Regional Claim Manager for XL-Insurance’s US Primary Casualty Claims unit. His career spans the course of over 20 years of claims management experience in Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Auto Liability. The majority of his career has been in managing and overseeing TPA’s handling large Risk Management claim programs. He has worked for many of the top US Insurance carriers in the country. Mr. Ortega has also served on the operational side overseeing XL’s Latin America claims operation. He has studied and obtained his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) professional designation. Mr. Ortega earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
