Biography

Mr. Gillette began his insurance career in 1989. Since then he has worked for some of the leading Insurance Carriers, including, Allianz/Fireman’s Fund, General Accident, and Zurich and also operated his own independent adjusting firm with 5 offices for over 6 years. He has been involved with almost every major hurricane beginning with Hugo 1989. Mr. Gillette has been involved in working claims exceeding $100 Million dollars. He is very familiar with excess lines and re-insurance treaties and the excess carriers involved.
 
He has worked on very high exposure press related multi-Million dollar claims, including Liberty Island, Sugarland Stage Collapse to name a few. He also has been involved in professional high level personal lines property claim including governmental dignitaries where confidentiality and clearances were involved. He specializes in large structures, manufacturing, agricultural including crops and livestock farms. He is licensed in over 20 states.
 
His experience growing up in the Midwest around agricultural farming operations and manufacturing has added his ability to assist and properly analyze claim exposure. He also is a certified building inspector that makes him uniquely qualified in building construction sites and project management where terminology and trade experience aid in his ability to settle structural building claims.
