Biography
Susan is a Vice President and Senior Claims Consultant in Lockton’s Northeast Series Philadelphia (Blue Bell) office where she leads the large casualty claims team. In this role she advocates her clients interests for coverage, claim and litigation strategy primarily in high frequency casualty lines like Workers’ Compensation, Auto Liability and General Liability; analyzes claims data; manages TPA relationships; selects and manages outside counsel; and researches and implements cost saving programs.
Susan has more than 25 years’ experience as a professional Risk Manager. She possesses multi-line and multi-jurisdictional claims expertise; specializes in handling complex, catastrophic claims often valued in excess of $1 million. Susan has deep expertise in preparing, strategizing and implementing claims defense strategies focused on the efficient and economical resolution of a claim. Her articles have been published in Risk and Insurance magazine, and she has twice been a featured speaker at the RIMS national conference.
