Biography
Janet Martin is the co-owner and president of Lasater & Martin, P.C. Janet was licensed to practice law in 1989 and began her legal career by clerking for the Texas Court of Appeals for the Second Judicial District. Following her clerkship, she immediately began a very active civil litigation practice in Texas. In 2001, Janet moved to Colorado where she continued her civil litigation practice. Janet is an aggressive, dynamic and highly skilled litigator with a commanding courtroom presence. Janet actively litigates large, complex cases including product liability, construction defect, trucking, and commercial injury matters of all types. She has extensive experience in the state and federal courts throughout Colorado and Texas, but is also freqently requested by carriers to take over cases in other states. Janet heads the construction defect section of the law firm and manages the Texas office of Lasater & Martin in Las Colinas.
