Biography
Barry J. Vogt is Senior Vice President and Chief Claims Officer since April, 2014. Based in EMPLOYERS®’ Reno, Nevada office, he is responsible for leading EMPLOYERS claim operations group and is responsible for claims strategy, medical management/managed care strategy, catastrophic claim management, fraud investigations, claim controls, regulatory compliance and subrogation effectiveness. Vogt brings to EMPLOYERS more than 29 years of multi-line experience in the insurance industry, and progressive management experience with various companies including Sedgwick Claims Management Services and Crawford & Company. Vogt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska and holds a CPCU Professional Designation.
