Biography
Joanne is a Corporate Casualty Claims Manager at Merchants Insurance with 20 years experience in the insurance industry. Joanne joined Merchants Insurance in 2020 as a Litigation Manager and was promoted to Senior Litigation Manager in 2022. In 2023 she was promoted to her current role. Prior to joing Merchants Insursurance, Joanne worked at Westfield Insurance for 11 years and held the roles of Casualty Complex Claims Specialist, Litigation Specialist, and Subrogation Unit Leader. In addition, Joanne has held various roles in property and casualty units.
She previously was Subrogation Committee Co-Chair and a Committee Chair Liaison for the Publication/Magazine Committee with CLM. Joanne has also been involved in NASP and was an editor of the Subrogator magazine, Co-Chair for the Ohio Chapter, and a part of the Property Benchmark Committee.
Joanne holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from Walsh University and is also a Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional (CSRP). She is currently working on her Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership from St. Bonaventure University with an anticipated graduation date of May 2024.
