Janelle Griffith

Biography

Janelle Griffith is a Vice President and Account Executive - Logistics in the Marine Unit of the Commercial Insurance Division in Lockton’s New York City office.  In this role Janelle works with Lockton’s clients, drawing on her legal, claims and brokerage experience.  Her responsibilities include marketing and implementation of cargo and logistics insurance solutions, program design, and providing related strategic advisement, as well as the overall day to day client servicing.  Janelle is also responsible for collaborating with the marine unit leader to provide substantive expertise to the logistics segment of the practice through branding, product development and client development initiatives.

With more than 17 years of experience in the insurance industry, Janelle has honed her skills in the cargo, transportation and logistics area of the marine insurance sector. Well-versed in cargo, door-to-door logistics supply chain, and experienced in areas such as Forwarder’s Legal Liability, Warehouseman’s Legal Liability, Motor Truck Cargo, and Customs Brokerage, she merges this knowledge with her legal acumen and expertise in international laws and national conventions to provide a superior level of service to clients.

Janelle is solutions oriented in nature, allowing her to be a valuable asset and to serve as a trusted expert and resource for clients and colleagues.
