Carolyn Luken

Biography

Since October 2021, Carolyn has been managing construction defect claims at Natiowide.  She became a claims unit manager in the Commerical Division Construction Defect team in March of 2022.   Carolyn is a former  Assistant Vice President for the Construction Defect Claims Unit at Crum & Forster.   Carolyn has her AIC designation.  She has been managing insurance claims and claim professionals for more than twenty-five years.  Carolyn has a multi-line claim background and has handled and managed construction defect claims, commercial and personal automobile claims, workers’ compensation claims, general liability claims, and excess and umbrella claims.  Carolyn has experience working for both carriers and third-party claims administrators.  She was also a training manager,  actively involved in recruiting, training and mentoring individuals new to the claims profession. Carolyn graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Communication Studies.
