Wendy Keenan

Biography

Wendy Keenan is a partner at London Fischer, LLP in its New York City office and is the head of its Cybersecurity – Insurance Coverage and Response Team. Wendy also co-heads the firm’s Program Management Team, a dedicated group of attorneys who offer claim management, insurance coverage and analysis, and risk management services to domestic and foreign insurers.  She specializes in handling complex professional liability coverage matters for claims made under primary, umbrella or excess policies. Her legal experience includes all types of specialty lines and professional liability claims, including, but not limited to cyber, lawyers, architects and engineers, mortgage brokers, insurance agents and brokers, employment practices, directors and officers.  On behalf of professional liability insurers, Wendy investigates claims, evaluates coverage, and provides opinions on coverage, liability and early resolution strategies.  She handles all aspects of coverage disputes, including coverage litigation.  Wendy also directly represents insureds in employment practices and A&E matters.

Wendy also has in-depth experience reviewing and drafting insurance policies and endorsements.  Earlier in her career, Wendy was seconded on multiple occasions to a Lloyd's, London insurance syndicate, where she assisted claims professionals and underwriters in handling claims, programs, and policy drafting.

Wendy lives in Oakland, New Jersey with her husband Christopher, and eleven year old son, Zane. She is a first Dan black belt in Taekwondo.
