Lind Stapley is a Pacific Northwest native whose practice centers on complex insurance issues. In addition to providing support to insurance companies on bad faith and claim handling issues, he has evaluated and litigated insurance coverage cases involving dams, radioactive sewer slime, copper mines, and municipal sewage treatment plants. Lind has also been involved in the legislative arena, providing commentary and input on insurance regulations in Washington and Oregon. Other coverage work involves analyzing first-party and construction defect matters.
Lind is a graduate of Brigham Young University, obtaining a B.S. in Business Management in 1985, with high honors, and a J.D. in 1988, also with honors. He clerked for the Honorable Moody R. Tidwell, III in the United States Court of Federal Claims. He has since co-authored a section of the Washington State Bar Association State and Local Tax Deskbook and been a frequent CLE presenter on insurance issues. He is licensed to practice in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
Outside of the office, Lind is a father of six children and enjoys adventuring with them.
