Biography
Scott Schomaker is a Field Claims Manager at Acuity Insurance in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Scott is a veteran of the insurance industry and manages a team of 7 multi-line field claim representatives in East Central Wisconsin. He is experienced in handling and overseeing the investigation of personal automobile and commercial trucking claims involving serious injuries. Prior to being selected as a Field Claims Manager at Acuity in 2013, Scott was a Field Claims Representative for 12 years at Acuity working out of his home in Green Bay, WI. Other experience includes working for 3.5 years at deep sea shipper Wallenius Wilhelmsen in Norway evaluating cargo claims and leading strategic planning. Scott’s first job out of college was working as a Claim Representative III for Kemper Insurance in Kansas City, MO and Madison, WI for over 6 years.
Scott has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1990) and a Certificate in French from the Université de Pau, France. Scott also holds an Associate in Claims designation from the Insurance Institute of America.
Scott has been a member of CLM since 2001.
