Mark Sahl

Biography

Mark is a shareholder at Carpenter Hazlewood and focuses his practice on litigation, employment law, and general counsel. As one of the top litigators in the firm, Mark leads the Insurance Defense team and is responsible for supervising and mentoring numerous associates at the firm.  Mark has successfully tried dozens of cases, including administrative matters, for his clients and their insurers, and has negotiated many favorable settlements as well.

Mark attended Northern Arizona University and graduated with an accounting degree, and later obtained his CPA after working in public accounting for a national accounting firm.  After his time in public accounting, he attended Baylor Law School, where he was the Administrative Editor of the Baylor Law Review.  Upon graduation, Mark began working at Carpenter Hazlewood and was made partner in 2012.
 
Mark frequently speaks at industry seminars regarding insurance and litigation, highlighting his knowledge and skills as one of the leading insurance defense attorneys in the industry.
