Biography
Tim Cotton is the Chief Operating Officer at Swyfft. As a proven leader he has successfully transformed his team’s productivity, increased efficiency and improved compliance. He has over 25 years of industry experience. He most recently served in leadership positions at UPC Insurance as well as Vice President of Claims for Elements Property Insurance Company and the Farm Family Insurance Companies. Prior to those roles he was with The Main Street America Group and State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and also obtained the Charter Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Claims (AIC), Chartered Insurance Operations Professional (CIOP), and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) professional designations. Tim is a CLM Fellow, a former member of the ACE Advisory Board and Guidewire Customer Advisory Group and the Florida Bar 4th Circuit Grievance Committee. He has been interviewed for industry publications and has also authored a white paper on litigation expense management.
