Biography

Kathleen Bragg-Pebley, Esq. began her legal career in 2000 and serves as Director of Coverage and Litigation at Higginbotham Insurance Agency. Previously, she was General Counsel at Momentous Insurance Brokerage from 2011 to 2020 and a SeniorAssociate at Wilson Elser, a top 50 law firm in the United States. Shespecializes in business and employment litigation, primarily in Title VII ofthe Civil Rights Act, sexual harassment, disability discrimination, EqualEmployment Opportunity Commission investigations, and Family MedicalLeave Act matters. Her business litigation experience includes corporatelaw, contract law and Professional Liability cases. In addition, she servedas in-house counsel in a Lloyd’s of London syndicate working as a ClaimsAdjuster and Coverage Counsel, handling Property and ProfessionalLiability claims throughout the United States, reviewing policy wordingand developing defense and coverage counsel guidelines.
At Higginbotham, Kathleen is involved in the firm’s in-house claims team, working to resolve complex insurance coverage claims.
In October 2012, Kathleen was a finalist for the Los Angeles Business Journal’sesteemed Corporate Counsel Awards, which recognizes the accomplishmentsof leading in-house attorneys within the Los Angeles businesscommunity. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine UniversitySchool of Law, graduating cum laude.
