Biography
Sal is responsible for the development and advancement of Swiss Re's US Professional Lines treaty products and the building of the US Professional Lines treaty underwriting team.In his previous role, Sal was an Account Executive for Swiss Re's Regional & National segment focused on managing existing clients and producing new opportunities in the Western region of the US.In 2011, Sal joined Swiss Re for the second time in his career. He previously worked for Swiss Re in Rome and Milan, Italy as a Casualty Facultative and Treaty Underwriter. In addition to working for Swiss Re, Sal has held positions in the US as a Casualty Broker at Marsh, a Casualty Underwriter focused on D&O and E&O products for Financial Institutions at ACE and AIG, and as an Equity Research Analyst covering the Property/Casualty Insurance industry with Investment Banking firms.Sal earned an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Risk Management & Insurance with honors from the Peter J. Tobin College of Business of St. John’s University in New York.Sal and his wife have two daughters and live in Westchester County, New York.
