Biography
Dr. Khan is the Director of the Human Factors group at Rimkus Consulting Group. She has a Ph.D. in Industrial & Systems Engineering focusing on Human Factors and Occupational Safety & Health from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Dr. Khan has assisted clients in evaluating retail and hospitality related incidents involving risk perception, human error, and risk-taking behavior in workplace accidents, premises liability and transportation accidents. Such accidents have dealt with issues related to product/equipment design as well as their use/misuse; human error and risk-taking behavior; visibility; attention & distraction; adequacy of warnings, instructions, and training; driver perception & response; warehouse and loading docks operations; as well as other occupational incidents involving OSHA.
