Johan A. Obregon, is a Partner with Kerley, Walsh, Matera & Cinquemani, P.C. His practice is focused primarily on insurance defense litigation in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, casualty litigation, transportation, construction, commercial, community associations, homeowner associations, cooperatives, and other general liability issues. In his practice, Mr. Obregon has successfully defended the interest of a number of individual and corporate clients in the State Courts of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, as well as in Federal Court.
Before joining Kerley Walsh, Mr. Obregon was an associate with New York and New Jersey firms, where practiced in in general civil litigation, including, premise liability, automobile liability, trucking litigation, labor law, complex construction litigation, consumer fraud, employment law, and medical malpractice matters.
Mr. Obregon has handled a wide variety of civil litigation matters. Throughout his career, he has conducted numerous depositions, mediations, arbitrations, prepared and argued motions for summary judgment, and gained trial experience in high exposure matters. Mr. Obregon’s trial experience includes presenting opening statements, conducting cross-examination of plaintiffs and expert witnesses, performing direct examination of clients and experts, and presenting closing arguments.
Mr. Obregon is fluent in Spanish.
