Biography
Nicholas J. Sansone, Sr. is a graduate of Temple University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with honors in 1988. He graduated from Villanova University School of Law with his Juris Doctorate in 1991. Mr. Sansone is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, the state of New York and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is also admitted to practice in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Sansone was engaged in private practice for 30+ years prior to joining Donnelly, Petrycki and Sansone in 2022. His practice is focused on the defense of litigated matters for insurance carriers and self-insured clients in both state and federal courts in cases involving premises liability, negligence security claims, pharmacy malpractice, construction site accidents, property damage, construction defect, insurance coverage claims, general negligence and appellate practice. He has also been awarded Top Attorney -Construction- South Jersey Magazine 2021-2022.
Mr. Sansone is a member of the Camden County Bar Association and the Burlington County Bar Association (Trustee on Board). He is also a member of the Philadelphia County Bar, Pennsylvania State Bar, New Jersey State Bar and New York State Bar Associations, as well as the American Bar Association. Mr. Sansone is also a member of the New Jersey Defense Association, Defense Resolution Institute - Construction Law Steering Committee and SLG Vice Chair – Retail and Hospitality Subcommittee. He is a member of CLM, Construction Claims Community and Construction Conference Committee. Mr. Sansone also serves on RIMS - External Affairs Committee. He has also presented various seminars to clients on insurance coverage issues, contractual indemnity claims, verbal threshold issues for commercial clients, and other motor vehicle related topics.
