Rebecca Brewster

Biography

Rebecca Brewster is President and Chief Operating Officer of the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI). ATRI conducts transportation research with an emphasis on the trucking industry’s essential role in a safe, efficient and viable transportation system.
 
Ms. Brewster received the 2013 Influential Woman in Trucking Award, given by the Women in Trucking Association and Navistar. In 2010 Rebecca was recognized by the 50 state trucking associations for her service to the industry with the J.R. “Bob” Halladay Award. Rebecca serves on the CMU-PENN University Transportation Center Advisory Council.
           
Rebecca has been with ATRI since 1993. Prior to that, she was the Public and Governmental Affairs Director for the Cary, North Carolina Chamber of Commerce and a Fleet Analyst with Moen, Inc. Ms. Brewster holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wofford College and is a Fellow of the North Carolina Institute of Political Leadership.
 
Rebecca is married to Kevin Brewster and they have two sons, T.C. (17) and Eric (13). The Brewsters live in Marietta, Georgia.
