Responsibilities include vetting, approving, and analyzing the claims vendors and law firms utilized by C&F Claims. Committed to providing the C&F claims teams with easy access to the highest quality attorneys and professionals. Thorough vetting, evaluation, and review processes, ensure that vendors and law firms efficiently and expeditiously assist C&F claims professionals to reach the best possible outcome for each claim. Oversees a department responsible for review and processing of law firm and vendor invoices, tracking and reporting on law firm/vendor spend and claims information, addressing litigation management issues arising in the C&F claims department and with the law firms and vendors working on C&F claims. Prior to employment at C&F, was a practicing attorney litigating voluminous cases on behalf of insureds, self-insureds, and third-party administrators involving workers’ compensation, personal injury, construction defect, health, life, and disability insurance, civil rights, wrongful discharge, discrimination, insurance fraud, and general civil litigation. Lead or assist as trial and appellate counsel in NJ state and federal courts and before administrative agencies.
