Biography

Ms. Splaine joined Lincoln Gustafson & Cercos, LLP in 2004 and became a partner in 2008.  Ms. Splaine received her B.S. in Political Science from the University of Dayton in 1997 and J.D. in 2000 from Duquesne University School of Law.  Ms. Splaine is a member of the Federal and State Bars of Nevada, State Bar of Arizona, and State Bar of Pennsylvania. 

After graduation, Ms. Splaine joined a small firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 2000-2002 where she handled complex commercial litigation, employment/discrimination, personal injury, and contract dispute matters.  In 2002, she moved to Nevada and passed the bar the same year.  Ms. Splaine’s practice in Nevada has focused on general liability and construction defect/product liability defense of various defendants (subcontractors, developers, general contractors, and manufacturers) as well as business formation, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, contract disputes, and subrogation.

Ms. Splaine was admitted to practice in Arizona in 2014.  Ms. Splaine's practice area in Arizona includes construction defect defense, premise liability, dog bite cases, auto accidents, and coverage opinions. 

Ms. Splaine served as a committee member for the Las Vegas Defense Lawyers from 2013-2019 (including acting as Vice President during her last year).  In addition, she is currently a member of the Clark County Civil Bench Bar Committee and board member for the Southern Nevada Women’s Association.  Ms. Splaine is a current member of DRI and RIMs.  In the past, she has been a member of the National Association of Professional Women.
